We grew up together, and I cut my musical teeth jamming with him at a nearby park. He's also a great songwriter and a smokin' guitar player. But that's 'cuz he's from Australia. I think there's some kind of law down under that you're required to be a smokin' guitar player. Everything I know about music production I learned from him. We've been friends since freshman year of college when we used to hang out in the piano room of the dorm, writing songs and devising elaborate schemes to pick up women. The songs worked. The schemes didn't. His most recent album, "The Ground," is actually one of my very favorite albums of the past 5 years. You should really check it out. I love this record, and I think you will too. _____________________________________________________________ Daniel Leighton Daniel is a web guru who I became friends with through my yoga class. Yoga and gurus seem to go together. He's also one of my main sources for interesting new bands. He's very hooked in. _____________________________________________________________ Anna Mkhitarian Anna is another one of my yoga friends, and a very talented designer of clothing, jewelry and other art and accessories. All her stuff is cco-friendly, and what she calls, "eco-effective." Anna herself is also very eco-friendly, as well as eco-fun-to-hang-out-with. _____________________________________________________________ Brad Pomerance Brad is a reporter who I've been working with since I started at "LA This Week." He's a great reporter and a very smart and supportive guy. In fact, he's the person who got me to put up this website. Thanks, Brad! Also, he's an entertainment lawyer, but is still able to screw in a lightbulb without any assistance. _____________________________________________________________ John Ciccolini I met John the 1st year I lived in L.A. We worked together on a movie called, "The Suburban Socialists." Chick (AKA John) is an actor, and a damn good one. He's one of those people who you see in something and say, "Wow, who's THAT guy?" The dude can sing too. But I can kick his ass in pool, and that's gotta count for something, right? _____________________________________________________________ Anna Maganini You know her as Anna Marcos, the name she uses as a journalist. But Anna is also an actress, writer, artist, skier, and all-around renaissance woman. We've worked together on LA This Week since 2002.
